Thermoplastic & MMA Pavement Markings

Long-life markings for crosswalks, intersections, bike lanes and high-traffic areas across Vancouver Island, installed by the same crew that does our line painting.

Thermoplastic markings

Thermoplastic is thicker and more durable than paint, which makes it a good fit for busy roads, crosswalks and other high-traffic areas.

We install thermoplastic on municipal roads, highways and private sites, to the project specification and with traffic control from our own crew.

  • Continental and ladder crosswalks
  • Stop bars
  • Turn arrows and symbols
  • Word legends
  • School zone markings
  • Bike symbols and sharrows
  • Speed hump markings
  • High-wear intersection markings

MMA coloured surfacing

MMA (methyl methacrylate) is used when you need an extremely durable coloured or specialty marking.

It is the go-to for active transportation projects: green bike lanes and conflict zones, red bus lanes, and coloured crosswalks and plazas that need to hold their colour under traffic.

  • Green bike lanes
  • Bike lane conflict zones
  • Red bus lanes
  • Coloured and decorative crosswalks
  • Pedestrian walkways and plazas
  • Logos and detailed designs
